Juan C. Perez, Chief Executive Officer
Juan is the Chief Executive Officer and co‐founder of Highbrid Media. Juan has been featured in Crain's New York Business Journal, National Public Radio, Institute for Justice's Annual Journal, The Brooklyn Progress Newspaper, and was awarded the Young Gifted and Black Strategic Marketer of the Year Award in 2011.
He is also a board member of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and the Vice-Chairman of the Board at the Bedford Stuyvesant YMCA. Juan has lectured on the topics of marketing, the growing ethnic population, hyperlocal advertising, and the useof social networking as a tool for marketing small business. Juan holds a B.S. in Advertising from West Virginia University. Juan
has previously held positions at Mediaedge:cia, Burson‐Marsteller, HOT 97 and Sports Radio 660 WFAN stations in New York.
Daniel Gutzmore, President
Daniel's philosophy is simple: provide value and be a problem solver for each partner. Daniel has been featured in the New York Daily News, WNYC.COM, Sector B, The SOJ Insider. The Institute for Justice’s annual magazine, and The Brooklyn Progress. In 2011 he was honored with the YGB Strategic Marketing award. Daniel also serves on the Board of Safe Space a non profit organization founded in 1919 which offers a wide range of integrated family support and youth focused programs, including community and mental health services, and also helped oversee Safe Space’s partnership with Episcopal Social Services of New York and now serves on ESS board. Daniel is has also been a featured speaker at forums and panels on Top threats facing small businesses, hyperlocal Marketing, and experiential and alternative media. Daniel lives in New Jersey with his wife Mia and two children, Caleb and Micah.
Lisa Marie "Phoenix" Jackson, Director of Digital Strategy
Lisa Marie “Phoenix” Jackson is a tenured professional who developed a knack for building online relationships and helping her employers connect with customers by using sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. As a direct result, Phoenix launched Phoenix Aficionado Inc, a digital project management consultancy with a specialty in social media that helps cultivate the identity and presence of fashion, education and entertainment accounts. Due to her talents as a social media manager, she was appointed as Director of Digital Strategy for Highbrid Media. Lisa Marie "Phoenix" Jackson was featured in Black Enterprise Magazine’s November 2012 issue.
